Since Inosuke grew up in the mountains with only animals for company, he didn’t have the opportunity to learn established fighting techniques like Tanjiro’s water breathing or Zenitsu’s thunder breathing. Instead, he developed his own style called beast breathing, which takes advantage of his acute sense of touch to detect threats lurking in the shadows and unleash devastating blows upon them. The most impressive ability we’ve seen so far is his “spacial awareness” that he used to locate the Spider Mother demon in a dark forest crawling with other dangerous creatures.

The Hashira are known for their flashy sense of style, but Shinobu outdoes them all with her gorgeous butterfly wing haori and subtle two-toned hair. Both her hair clip and sword hilt also incorporate butterfly imagery, and even her movements in battle resemble the insect in flight. The other Hashira have more complicated outfits, and yet Shinobu’s standard demon slayer uniform with its distinctive feminine accents stands out as a classy and memorable design.
